IGF-1 LR3
IGF-1 LR3 is a long-acting analog of insulin-like growth factor 1, engineered with a 13-amino-acid extension (Long Arg^3). This modification greatly reduces binding to IGF-binding proteins, resulting in prolonged activity. IGF-1 LR3 is used in cell and tissue studies to stimulate IGF-1 receptors and investigate effects on muscle cell growth, glucose uptake, and anabolic signaling, independent of binding protein regulation.
